ASTM A252 standard covers nominal wall cylindrical steel pipe piles in which the steel cylinder acts as a permanent load-carrying member or as a shell to form cast-in-place concrete piles.

The purpose and strength levels required will determine which grade is required. Produced in 12.375 inch, 14.00 inch and 16.00 inch OD and in wall thicknesses from 0.109" up to 0.220", ASTM A252 tubing is used in a select number of agricultural, industrial and construction related end uses.
